Commissions for Television

Blind Spot

I created and wrote this four-episode thriller, starring Ross Kemp, which will be on Channel 5 in July 2023.

Malory Towers

I've written multiple episodes of the Emmy-nominated children's show based on the beloved novels by Enid Blyton.

Shakespeare and Hathaway

I wrote the episode All That Glisters of this popular comedy whodunnit show starring Mark Benton and Jo Joyner.

Father Brown

I've written five episodes of this internationally successful show featuring Mark Williams. One episode, The Man in the Shadows, won two awards from the Royal Television Society: Best Fictional Programme and Best Actor.

The Break

A short-film about a disabled young woman's unhealthy relationship with a CGI goblin called Turnip. It's available on the iPlayer here.

Land Girls

I wrote an episode for the third series of this lavish period drama examining the lives of the women who worked the fields during World War 2.

The Dumping Ground

I wrote the episode Natural Habitat in series 10 of this hit children's show set in a foster home.

Doctors

I have been a regular writer for this popular daytime drama since 2006, responsible for over 80 episodes. One of these, Quarantine, was an hour-long special for the 2000th episode. Other episodes have included ones told in real-time; a story told from the subjective point-of-view of a woman with dementia; and a Halloween special where an alien meteorite turned the cast into deadly zombies!

Holby City

I have had two episodes of this hour-long medical drama broadcast on BBC1 during prime-time.

Fracture

Fracture is a sci-fi short film I wrote which features some breathtaking special effects. Time is running out for the crew when disaster strikes a deep-space mining base. You can watch the film for free here.
